Organic Millet (500g)

Millet is a highly nutritious, healthful and versatile grain that would be a worthy addition to anyone’s diet.
Its vitamins and minerals contribute to high energy levels, building and maintaining healthy cells and tissue, and good vision and digestion.

Millet is more easily digested than other whole grains. It even acts as a prebiotic in the intestine to help feed the good bacteria that keep the intestines healthy and the immune system primed.

Quinoa (pronounced Keen-wah) is actually a seed, but it’s used like a grain in recipes because of its cooking characteristics. It has a crisp and brittle texture and a nutty flavour.

Quinoa is loaded with protein, more than many popular grains such as oats, wheat, or rice and is classified as a complete protein as it provides all the nine essential amino acids that your body needs to stay healthy!

Cooked quinoa is excellent in hot casseroles and soups, stews, in stir-fries, or cold in salads and it is often substituted for rice in rice dishes. The seeds can also be sprouted and eaten as raw, live food for snacks or in salads and sandwiches.

They’re a hearty addition to soup or stew as they do a great job of absorbing flavours and spices, but they’re also excellent when added to salads and served cold.

Organic Almonds (500g)

Gram for gram, they’re one of the most nutrient-rich tree nuts on earth and just a handful of them a day is a great way to ensure you’re getting more of the good things your body needs and you want.

Almonds are low in saturated fat and contain many other protective nutrients. They are richer in calcium than any other nut making them excellent for bone health. 20-25 almonds (approximately one ounce) contain as much calcium as 1/4 cup of milk.

Almonds also have a higher fibre content than other nuts which contributes to better elimination of waste products from the body. The vitamin E content plays an important role in skin, both inside and out, helping it to maintain its elasticity and to repair it if it is damaged.
